Our greenhouses are located in Hudsonville, Michigan, which is mid-way between Grand Rapids and Holland in southwest Michigan. 

What's New?

NEW FOR 2007: The new Dark Angels Series is a bronze leaf series of dahlia for 4" to 4.5" pots. They flower profusely with anemone-type flowers, with wonderful contrast from leaves and flowers. Bright single flower ideal for staggered cropping.

We continue to see a sales increase on every variety in the Gallery Dahlia series.  Matisse, Rubens and Sisley along with Cezanne, Leonardo, Singer and Vincent can be used in a 4.5” to 5” program as well as a 6” /1 gallon to a 10”/2 gallon program.  Art Deco and Art Nouveau have won national recognition by US Dahlia societies.  Since there are 19 varieties available in this series, there seems to be something for every grower.  For the fifth year we are seeing Gallery Dahlias being used for early, mid and late season sales.  Over 30% of our Gallery Dahlia sales occur from May 1 through June 20.  This continues to be a great opportunity for growers to extend their season.  Please note that we are offering an unrooted Gallery Dahlia program.

The dahlietta program continues to grow, especially when growers finish rooted cuttings in 4” and 5” pots.  The self-branching characteristics and rapid blooming allow for a quick turnover.  These beautiful dahliettas, which finish on an average of 7 weeks from a rooted cutting, are not only stunning but very profitable.

The Happy Single bronze leaf dahlia series is a tuberous type from the breeders of the Gallery Dahlias.  The ‘Happy Single’ dahlias bloom profusely and have many anemone type flowers.  They can be sold in 6” to 12” pots, used in landscaping and for borders.  Two new varieties have been added to the series – Flame, a combination red with a yellow throat, and Wink, which is pink with a magenta eye.
